GF88.79-P-2000FA | Heat left/right outside rearview mirrors function | 22.2.08 |
MODEL 203.7 as of model year 09/YoM 08 model refinement package
Function requirements, general
Circuit 61 ON
No overvoltage or undervoltage
On-board electrical system consumer shutoff not active
No active actuation of the power window
Heat left/right outside mirror, function sequence
The outside mirror heater is switched automatically depending on the outside temperature.
The outside temperature measured with the outside temperature indicator temperature sensor (B14) is read in by the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) and transmitted as message to the interior CAN.
The left front door control unit (N69/1) and right front door control unit (N69/2) receive this value and switch the mirror heater (M21/1r1 and M21/2r1) on or off.
Switch-on condition:
- outside temperature < 15 °C
Switch-off condition:
- Outside temperature > 19 °C
If the outdoor temperature value received is not plausible, the mirror heater is always switched on under the following circumstances.
