N18 Heater operating unit

N18s1 Rear heater switch

Rear heater actuation is performed using the heater operating unit's (N18) rear heater switch (N18s1). Rear heater activation is indicated by the red light emitting diode (LED) in the rear heater switch (N18s1) going on. After activating the rear heater, the rear heater operating switch (S81/1) is actuated via a discrete line.

This then means that the rear heater operating switch (S81/1) can be used to set the temperature in the rear compartment.
