Location

The actuator motors are located on the air conditioning housing.

All of the actuator motors on the air conditioning housing are of identical design. The task of the actuator motor and the assignment of the air ducting flap to be actuated takes place via the wiring harness coupling.

Task

The actuator motors move the air ducting flaps in the AC housing and therefore change the air flow direction. The actuator motors are actuated by the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit (N22) via the AC bus. The air distribution and the temperature in the vehicle interior are adjusted by appropriate actuation of the actuator motors.
