CD-player mode, function

Function requirements:

As of active circuit 15 R, all functions are available. If circuit 15 R is not active, the functions of the MOST bus stations are activated by switching on the head unit. Steering wheel operation is then not possible.

Playing of DVDs by the COMAND operating, display and control module (A40/3)

The DVD disk drive via the display of the COMAND operating, display and control module (A40/3) supports DVD video, DVD ROM, CD audio, CD-ROM (MP3), CD/R and CD R/W.

The disk drive is located behind the display and is freely accessibly via a kinematics system which moves the display. It is only operable by means of the COMAND operating, display and control module (A40/3). The disk drive has the function DVD DiscAutoDetect and on the housing there is a hard key for DVD DiscEject.

Via menus, the following are controllable:

CD audio:

Shuffle Off/CD, Repeat Off/Track/CD, Next/Previous Track,

Pause, Stop, Play, Search Forward/Backward, IntroScan, Display (Total/Elapsed) Time/Title/Number of Tracks/Current Track Number, CurrentTrack, Repeat TrackSwitch/PlaySwitch, ShufflePlaySwitch.

DVD video:

Language, subtitle language, screen format (16:9, 4:3), color, brightness, contrast, scene structure, video modes: Stopped, Playing, Paused, Fast Forward, Fast Reverse, Slow Motion, Repeat Play Switch, Repeat Title Switch, Repeat Scene Switch, Stop, Play, Pause, Random Play Switch, Search Forward/Reverse, Fast Forward/Reverse, Slow Motion Forward, Repeat Title/Scene, Random, Step By Step, Display Time/Title/Scene.
