Function

The washer nozzle heater and the washer fluid hose heater are automatically switched on if:

 Circuit 61 ON (engine running) and

 an outside temperature of less than 5 °C is detected.

Switching-off occurs automatically when:

 Term. 61 OFF (motor OFF) or

 an outside temperature of greater than 8 °C is detected.

The washer nozzle heater and the washer nozzle hose heater are actuated by the driver-side SAM control unit.
