Wiper park position heater

The wiper park position area of the windshield is electrically heated.

The "normal" operating mode of the wiper park position heater is automatic activation when the engine is running and the outside temperature is below +5 °C.

The maximum activation period is 25 minutes, which applies to dry weather and continuous operation in case of precipitation. This also prevents damage to the glass caused by overheating when there is no slip stream cooling.

The wiper park position heater relay is actuated by the semiconductors (Highside) of the driver-side SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
