MODEL 210 with CODE (979) Special protection version
Panic alarm system (PAS)

The following functions are available when the system is activated:

Acoustic "YELP" signal
The alarm signal is broadcast by two active speakers located in the front area of the vehicle. The frequency is generated by a frequency generator in the PAS control module (N26/8).

Flashing high beam headlamps
The high beam headlamps flash at a frequency of approx.
1 Hz regardless of the previous status (parking lamps, high beams, low beams).
This function cannot be affected by standard controls such as the light/high beam/low beam switch.
On vehicles with daytime running lamps the standard function is also canceled when the alarm is triggered and replaced by the alarm function.

Flashing turn signal lamps
All turn signals are activated with the alarm regardless of the turn signal switch position.
The flashing frequency is approx. 2 Hz.

Central locking
When the alarm is triggered the vehicle is locked by the CL feature. If one of the doors is only in the first catch position or open, the remaining doors are locked anyway. When this door is closed later it is locked as long as the alarm is triggered.
The vehicle can be unlocked with the CL feature via the central locking interior switch only after the alarm is canceled.

Intercom system
Voice communication from inside to outside is possible after switching on the microphone switch.
The radio switches to "mute".
The "Yelp" alarm signal is interrupted.

Emergency radio message (optional)
If desired an emergency radio message can be activated when the alarm is tripped.
In this case the SVMCM control module generates a signal which is used to activate an emergency radio message.

TELE-AID (optional)
The PAS system includes the possibility of connecting the TELE-AID emergency call system.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In combination with the special signal system (SSS) the panic alarm system (PAS) functions have priority.
