Interior light delay:

The front interior light is switched on automatically when the front doors are unlocked. It goes out immediately once the ignition is switched on. If the ignition is not switched on, the interior light goes out automatically after a set time (approx. 10 seconds). The interior light of the passenger compartment/loading area goes out after 15 seconds.

The front interior light and the rear interior lights are switched off after a delay once the doors are closed (after approx. 15 seconds).

The front and rear interior lights are not switched via the door contact switch, but via the microswitch on the rotary tumblers. The front interior light is operated via the front doors, the rear interior lights via the sliding doors and tailgate.
