The remote control of the transmitter key can be used to perform the following functions:

 Global unlocking (overall vehicle)

 Selective unlocking (driver and front passenger door unlocked)

 Global locking (overall vehicle)

The following turn signal lamps indicate reception of the "Unlocking" signal by flashing once, regardless of selective or global setting:

 Turn signal light, left (E1e5), turn signal light, right (E2e5), turn signal light, left (E3e1), turn signal light, right (E4e1)

 For model 639.6 or with code (Z41) Qualification as truck:

Additional turn signal lamp, left (E22/1) and additional turn signal lamp, right (E22/2)

 With code (L84) Additional turn signal lamps on rear of roof:

Additional turn signal lamp, left rear (E22/3) and additional turn signal lamp, right rear (E22/4)

When the turn signal lamps flash 3 times, locking is successful.

Selectively unlocking

The driver and passenger door can be locked and unlocked separately with the mechanical key
