The central locking control module (N60) receives the crash message from the emergency tensioning retractor, airbag and side airbag control module (N2/2).

After receiving a crash message the following actuations are actuated in sequence in the central locking control module:

the receipt of the crash message is stored in the DTC memory

both control circuits are unlocked immediately after a crash message is received

The sequence selected ensures that in the event that the car is not unlocked due to an interruption in the operating power, this can be repeated after the control module is reset and the power supply is connected again.

The "Emergency opening" function unlocks the following after an accident:

driver and front passenger doors

left and right sliding doors

trunk lid or tailgate of vehicle.
