Operation

The "close sliding/pop-up roof" function is only available when the sliding/pop-up roof is in the synchronized state. It is

actuated by pulling the roof system switch (N70s1) down to the first catch. The overhead control panel control module (N70) then actuates the sliding/pop-up roof motor (M12m1). The direction in which the motor is actuated depends on whether the sliding roof or the pop-up roof is open. The motor is actuated for as long as the switch is activated, though for no longer than 50 s (max. activation time). The "close sliding/pop-up roof" function is aborted if the sliding/pop-up roof is detected to lock up or if an obstruction is detected.
