Position recognition

Function description

The position counter is increased or decreased by each edge of the signal from hall sensors 1 and 2 based on the previous direction of rotation recognized. The ratio of counter status (Z) in relation to armature rotation (AR) is i = Z: AU = 4:1. The zero position is in the upper lock-up position.

(partition wall completely closed). The count direction is positive in the opening direction. If the zero position is exceeded in the closing direction the counter status becomes negative. The zero position is set by the synchronization or resynchronization function.

The position recognition is permanently active except in the sleep mode independent from:

Actuation of the thermo switch in the interior compartment partition wall motor (M10/7)

Switch and relay status.

Direction recognition

Function description

The rotation direction recognition is permanently active except in the sleep mode independent from:

Actuation of the thermo switch in the passenger compartment partition wall motor (M10/7)

Switch and relay status.

The rotation direction recognition is accomplished by evaluating the hall sensor signals 1 and 2. Each signal edge is sued for evaluation.
