Task
The high-voltage battery stores electrical energy and supplies all high voltage system components with power. It is the main component part of the high-voltage battery module.
Depending on the model, the status of the high-voltage battery is detected by one or more control units that are integrated in the high-voltage battery module.
To ensure a high life expectancy of the high-voltage battery with regard to the capacity and charging cycles, the operating temperature of the high-voltage battery must be within a certain range. The high-voltage battery is thus heated at low temperatures at cooled at high temperatures.
