Location

The fuel pump with fill level sensor provides a sufficient quantity of fuel to the high-pressure pump and at the required pressure.

2-stage flow pump integrated in fuel feed module.
Function
The fuel pump with fill level sensor is actuated by the CDI control unit (N3/21) by the fuel pump relay (K39) integrated in the electrical center (A12). It draws the fuel from the fuel feed module through a fuel strainer. The fuel pump with fill level sensor then pumps the suctioned fuel through the fuel filter to the high-pressure pump.
