Manual storage

Function prerequisites

Circuit 15R On or circuit 15 On or

Driver door open.

Function

Select memory position by rotating the memory switch
1, 2, 3 (S91/2s14).

Press memory switch (S91/2s9) for approx. 0.4 seconds and release again.

Press memory switch 1, 2 ,3 (s14) within 3seconds (S91/2).

The positions of the steering column are stored in the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) depending on the key.

In addition the position of the driver seat and outside mirrors are stored in each memory.

Automatic memory

Function

Key-dependent storage of the current position (driving position) takes place with the transition from circuit 15 to circuit 15R.

In addition the position of the driver seat and outside mirrors are stored.

These positions are approached automatically when the appropriate transmitter key is used.

Memory block number

The transmitter keys are managed with the memory block number. The memory block number is issued by the electronic ignition switch control unit (N73).
