Operation

The basic function performed by the components of this group (KO) of the brake system is to alert the vehicle's driver about any possible irregularity on the pneumatic pressure and/or hydraulic on the brake mechanism system.

The lamp (9.01) alerts the driver about the parking brake application. It is linked to a pressure shut-off device (10.01) which remains with the contact opened while the hydraulic circuit oil is over a certain level. When the oil is below a given level, the switch contact (10.01) closes and the lamp (9.01) is activated.

The shut-off device (10.01) is also linked to the hydraulic reservoir (34.02).
