operation
The basic task executed by the components of this set (KO) of the brake system is to warn the vehicle driver of any possible irregularity on the pneumatic pressure.
The double pressure gauge (11.02) informs the existing pressure in the pneumatic circuit, because connections 41 e 42 are commonly linked to the tanks (5.01).
The lamps (9.01), on the other hand, warn the driver of:
9.01 (I) - parking brake engagement
9.01 (II) - low pressure in the pneumatic system.
The lamps (9.01) are linked to the pressure switches (10.01), which remain with an open contact as long as pneumatic pressure is above a limit value. When pneumatic pressure drops below this value, the pressure switch contact (10.01) closes, and the lamps (9.01) are activated.
