Operation

The compressed air coming from the pressure generator group (DE) is stored by reservoirs (5.01) that, besides the storage function, has the function of condensing the water existing in the air.

The draining of water is done periodically always when the manual draining valve (6.01) incorporated to the reservoir (5.01) is activated. Its activation is important, since it eliminates the condensed water by the compressed air reservoir (5.01) avoiding damage to the components of the brake system, such as corrosion, for example.

After stored, the compressed air is used up from the air reservoir (5.01) by several brake system pneumatic circuits.
