General description

The 9 S 75 gearbox consists of a basic 4-speed gearbox and an additional crawler speed, besides a reverse gear. Through an after-placed planetary reduction group (i.e., in the gearbox rear part) the four basic speeds are multiplied and a total of eight speeds are obtained; adding the crawler gear we have, a total of nine forward gears.

This gearbox differentiates itself from the other models with planetary group, as the second “H” (group of 5th to 8th gears) is not actuated mechanically through the shifter but pneumatically, through a button located on the shifter.
