The hydraulic fluid filter (15) is located in the return flow to the hydraulic fluid container (16) above on the device carrier behind the cab.
Task
The hydraulic fluid filter (15) has the task to filter out dirt particle in the hydraulic fluid.
Design
The hydraulic fluid filter (15) primarily consists of a filter head, filter housing, cover, filter insert made out of glass fiber paper as well as a standard wastegate.
Function
The hydraulic fluid flows through the filter insert and is cleared according to the filter fineness. The filtered out dirt particles settle in the filter insert. The filtered hydraulic fluid passes over the hydraulic line at the outlet opening into the hydraulic fluid container (16). The integral wastegate prevents a pressure rise in the hydraulic circuit caused by a backlog.
The filter insert made out of glass fiber paper cannot be cleaned. It must be replaced as part of the prescribed maintenance intervals.
