Task

Monitoring exhaust-relevant components and signals and storing faults

Indicating any fault detected by means of the CHECK ENGINE malfunction indicator lamp (A1e26)

Function

The data required for monitoring are supplied to the diagnostic module (N59) over the CAN databus.

If a fault is detected, a fault code is stored in the fault memory of the diagnostic module and the CHECK ENGINE malfunction indicator lamp (A1e26) comes on.
