Function

Voltage is supplied to the glow output stage (N14/2), the EPC malfunction indicator lamp (A1e43) as well as to the DFI control module (N3/8) when the key in the glow/starter switch (S2/2) or EIS control module (N73) is turned into position "2". Preglowing is started by the glow output stage (N14/2). The preglow indicator lamp (A1e16) and the EPC malfunction indicator lamp (A1e43) come on.
