Pressure control valve position

The presure control valve (3) is installed at the oil filter housing.

Pressure control valve task

Restricting the flow of the gas mixture if an excessive vacuum exists between charge air line and crankcase.

Pressure control valve function

At a vacuum of > 50 mbar in the charge air line, the connection to crankcase is sealed off by a diaphragm. If the pressure in the crankcase rises, the diaphragm is opened by a spring.
