1 | Clean windshield on inside in area of marking of grease and silicon residues. |
2 | Attach plug of connection line (3) for communications module as shown in picture and seal the other side with a stop plug (4). |
3 | Push corrugated hose against plug (3) until it projects into housing of communications module (2). |
4 | Position base (5) on communications module (2) and screw in screw/bolt (6). |
5 | Pull off protective foil (6) from base (5) of communications module (2) and glue communications module (2) onto marked position on the windshield. |

6 | Adjust communications module (2) using angle gauge at base (5) such that an installation position of 35° from vertical is achieved when installed. |
At an angle position of 35° from vertical, the three bars on the side of the communications module (2) are horizontal. |
7 | Finally, fix base (5) in place with fastening pins (7). |
