Remove

Remove CD box on front center console covering (4)

For vehicles with code (I03) 1-disk CD box



Remove/install CD box

Install

Determine installation location of bracket (2) for the telephone console (1)

 On vehicles with code (LHD) left-hand drive vehicle, install outer right bracket (2).
On vehicles with code (RHD) right-hand drive vehicle, install outer left bracket (2).

Drill bore-holes for the screws (3) through the center console front cover (4)

 Ensure that you only drill through the center console front cover (4), otherwise the bracket (2) cannot be attached using the screws (3).

 Drill holes to Ø 2 mm.

Remove drilling chips.



Position bracket (2) and screw in screws (3)

Slide telephone console (1) onto the bracket (2)

 Telephone console (1) must audibly latch onto the bracket (2).

Install CD box on front center console covering (4)

For vehicles with code (I03) 1-disk CD box

 As a consequence of retrofitting the telephone bracket (1) the CD box must be positioned at another location. Refer to:

Enter special equipment in the vehicle data card and in the vehicle's online data card

If the workshop does not have recourse to the DMS Autoline 8.0 dealer system.

 Enter code (C10) Telephone console (DFO).
