Removal

Remove interior lamp (E15/2)



Remove/install front dome lamp

Prepare template (4) for marking the cutting edge (5)

Position template (4) on roof cutout for interior lamp (E15/2) and fasten to the headliner (3) using suitable adhesive tape

 The arrow on the template (4) must face in the direction of travel.

Mark the cutting edge (5) to match the template (4) on the headliner (3)

 Check course of cutting edge (5) against frame (1) of overhead control panel cover (2).

Use a suitable knife to carefully cut out headliner (3) along the cutting edge (5)

 When cutting, make sure that the electrical connector (7) and the wiring harness (8) are not damaged, as otherwise they have to be replaced.

 Position suitable spacers between the headliner (3) and the electrical connector (7) and between the headliner (3) and the wiring harness (8).

Cover up working area using a suitable tarp.

Remove cutout (6) from headliner (3)



Install

Position frame (1) of overhead control panel cover (2) onto roof cutout of headliner (3) and fasten to the headliner (3) by bending over the fasteners on the frame (1)

 If necessary, recut the headliner (3) until the frame (1) can be inserted without any tension.

Install interior lamp (E15/2) into overhead control panel cover (2)



Remove/install front dome lamp

Install overhead control panel cover (2) with interior lamp (E15/2)



Remove/install front overhead control panel
