1 | Remove standard inner door sill molding on left and right | Guide assembly wedge at front below inner door sill molding (arrow) and pry out of mount to prevent damaging inner door sill molding. | |
Standard door sill moldings are replaced with new stainless steel door sill moldings. | |||

2 | Loosen edge guard in area of standard outer door sill molding on left and right | Do not damage painted surfaces and edge guard. | |

3 | Clean surface on standard outer door sill molding on left and right | The surface of the standard outer door sill molding must dry, free of dust and grease. | |

| Install | ||
4 | Retrofit outer stainless steel door sill molding (2) on left and right | If present, remove protective foil installed at factory from outer stainless steel door sill molding (2). Remove protective foil on adhesive strips on rear of outer stainless steel door sill molding (2). | |
Align outer stainless steel door sill molding (2) along standard outer stainless steel door sill molding and glue on. | |||
5 | Fasten edge guard in area of outer stainless steel door sill molding (2) on left and right | ||
6 | Retrofit inner stainless steel door sill molding (1) on left and right | Remove protective foil installed at factory from inner stainless steel door sill molding (1). | |
Ensure that inner stainless steel door sill molding (1) is in the same installation position on left and right. | |||
Insert inner stainless steel door sill molding (1) into mounting clamps, align at entrance and press on firmly. |
