1 Remove Mercedes star (1) with clips

2 Remove rear window wiper (2).

3 Remove rear trim strip (3).

4 Remove license plate (4).

5 Remove rear-end door lamps (5).

6 Remove rear stop lamp (6).

7 Mask off license plate illumination.

8 Mask off all clip and mounting holes from inside using masking tape, 50 mm wide.

9 Open rear-end door and mask off rear-end door release.

10 Mask off rear-end door fold overlapping all-round with masking tape, 50 mm wide.

11 Close liftgate and glue overlapping adhesive tape to adjacent surfaces.

12 Completely cover vehicle with masking paper.

 Avoid paint fog in the vehicle interior.
