Remove/install

Remove front passenger seat.

Remove seat cushion padding from front passenger seat.

Disconnect electrical connection (2).

Remove holder (3) and place to one side.

Unclip retaining clip (5) from seat frame base (1).

Unscrew screw (4) and remove Weight Sensing System (WSS) control unit (N110) from holder (7).

Remove retaining clips (6).

Remove seat occupancy recognition pressure sensor (N110b1) from seat frame base (1) together with Weight Sensing System (WSS) control unit (N110).


The seat occupancy recognition pressure sensor (N110b1) with the Weight Sensing System (WSS) control unit (N110) must always be replaced together with the seat cushion padding and the seat cushion cover.
Otherwise, the Weight Sensing System (WSS) will malfunction.

 Observe assembly position of electrical wiring harness.

Check holder (7) for damage.

If there is damage:



Replace holder (7).

Install in the reverse order



Check

Connect vehicle diagnosis system and commission Weight Sensing System (WSS).


