Remove/install

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key

Disconnect ground line of battery

Remove screw/bolts (2)

 Bolt, airbag to steering wheel

Lift driver airbag (1) off steering wheel

Release and disconnect electrical connector (4) from squib of driver airbag (1)

Remove driver airbag (1) from steering wheel

Install in the reverse order



Check

Check the automatic resetting of the combination switch

Check and erase vehicle fault memory using the diagnostic system

When replacing the driver airbag (1).


