Removing

Risk of injury when performing check and repair work in area of rollover bar

Extend roll bar before working in the roll bar area Keep body parts away from the moving area of the roll bar mechanical system.

Remove paneling from top of left and right center pillars

Remove retaining plate for power window of left and right rear side windows

 Mark installation position of retaining plates.

Remove left and right rear side paneling

Unscrew bolts (3) and remove left and right guide (2)

Use the long wedge to unclip the caps (4) at the catch hooks (arrows B) on roll bar (1)



Remove bolts (5)

Unscrew bolts (6) and remove roll bar (1) from center pillars



Install

Place roll bar (1) against left and right center pillars and screw in bolts (6)

 Replace self-locking bolts (6).

 Press roll bar (1) backwards when screwing in the bolts (6).



Screw in bolts (5)



Clip caps (4) into
roll bar (1)

Check adjustment of roll bar (1), correct if necessary

Install left and right guides (2)

Install left and right rear side paneling

Install retaining plate for power window of left and right rear side windows

 Pay attention to installation markings.

Install paneling at top of left and right center pillars

Perform a function test

 When doing so, raise and lower roll bar (1) several times using the roll bar switch.
