Remove

Remove driver seat

Remove head restraint

Remove armrests

Release and disconnect electrical connection (1)

Remove terminal strip (2) from terminal strip (3)

Detach seat backrest cover (4) from seat backrest padding (5) far enough to gain access to the heat mat (6)

Remove heat mat (6) from seat backrest padding (5)

 Heat mat (6) is self-adhesive and it is stuck to the seat backrest padding (5).

Check seat backrest padding (5) for damage

If the seat backrest padding (5) is damaged.



Replace seat backrest padding (5) and heat mat (6).



Install

Align new heat mat (6) on seat backrest padding (5) and glue on

 Ensure that electric line (7) is routed correctly.

Slide protruding edge areas on the heat mat (6) into recesses (arrows B) of seat backrest padding (5)

Pull seat backrest cover (4) until taut on seat backrest padding (5) and smoothen out

Mount terminal strip (2) onto terminal strip (3)

 Check for correct seating of seat backrest cover (4).

Connect and lock electrical connection (1)

Mount armrests
