Removing

Remove rear seat

Remove the screws holding the seat height adjustment drive unit (3).

Remove the screws for the rear seat adjustment motor (4).

Cut off the wire ties.

Separate plug-in wiring connection for rear seat adjustment motor (M25/1m1 on left, M26/1m1 on right).

Unclip left/right trim cover from backrest attachment (1).

Remove screws connecting backrest to seat frame (2).

Remove screws on rear seat adjustment motor gear unit (5) on both left und right sides.

After removing the screws remove the seat rails (9) and guide rails (8). Remove rear seat adjustment motor (M25/1m1 on left, M26/1m1 on right) together with gear unit.

Remove rear seat adjustment shaft (6).

Installing

Align the seat adjustment guide rail (8) flush on left and right sides.

Align the seat rail (9) and attach rear seat adjustment gear unit (7.1) with two screws.

Insert rear seat adjustment shaft (6) in rear seat adjustment gear unit (7.1).

Insert mount (7.2) in rear seat adjustment shaft (6).

Lock seat rail on right (9) into position and retain with screw.

Lock mount (7.2) in seat rail on right (9) and retain with screw.

Tighten screws (5) on mount (7.2) and screws (5) on rear seat adjustment gear unit (7.1).

Install rear seat adjustment motor (M25/1m1 on left, M26/1m1 on right) in seat frame and torque down screws (4).

Connect plug-in wiring connection for rear seat adjustment motor (M25/1m1 on left, M26/1m1 on right).

Attach with wire tie.

Tighten screws holding seat height adjustment drive unit (3).

Tighten screws holding backrest to seat frame (2).

Snap on trim cover for backrst mount (1) on left/on right side.

Install rear seat.

Run an operational check on the rear seat.
