Remove/install

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS control unit

On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).

Remove seat cushion

Position front seat in center height position

See owner's manual.

Remove screw (1)

Disconnect electrical connector (3) from driver rear seat height adjustment motor (M27/2)

Unscrew bolt (2)

Remove motor

In doing this, push front seat at backrest downward in order to counteract the pretension of the spring!

Install in the reverse order
