Remove

Remove front seat

Remove the screws holding the seat height adjustment drive unit (3).

Remove screws for the forward/back front seat adjustment motor (4).

Cut off the wire ties.

Disconnect electrical connector from left (M25m1) and/or right (M26m1) forward/back motor

Unclip left/right trim cover from backrest attachment (1).

Remove screws connecting backrest to seat frame (2).

Unscrew bolts (5) from left and right front seat adjustment gear motor (7.1)

After removing the screws remove the seat rails (9) and guide rails (8). Remove left (M25m1) and/or right (M26m1) forward/back motor with transmission.

Remove forward/back front seat adjustment motor shaft (6)

Install

Align the seat adjustment guide rail (8) flush on left and right sides.

Align seat rail (9) and use two screws to locate gear motor for front seat adjustment (7.1)

Insert shaft for front seat adjustment motor (6) into gear motor for front seat adjustment (7.1)

Insert mounting (7.2) into front seat adjustment motor shaft (6)

Lock seat rail (9) and fix in position with bolt

Lock bearing (7.2) in seat rail (9) and fix in position with bolt

Tighten bolts (5) to mounting (7.2) and bolts (5) to front seat adjustment gear motor (7.1)

Fit left (M26m1) and/or right (M25m1) forward/back motor to seat frame and tighten front seat adjustment motor bolts (4)

Attach electrical connector to left (M26m1) and/or right (M25m1) forward/back motor

Fasten with tie straps.

Tighten screws holding seat height adjustment drive unit (3).

Tighten screws holding backrest to seat frame (2).

21

Snap on trim cover for backrest mount (1) on left/on right side.

Install front seat

Run an operational check on the multicontour seat.
