Installation: | Replace self-locking nuts and screws | ||
1 | Remove front seat | ||
2 | Pull off adjustment knob (1) | ||
3 | Unscrew screw (arrow) | ||
4 | Slide paneling (2) toward front and remove | ||
5 | Unclip paneling (3) from seat backrest rotary shaft (arrow), then unhook pins (4) (arrow), turn upward and then slide forward and remove | ||
6 | Remove cover (5) from seat backrest and lay down to side | ||
7 | Unhook seat cover (6) from seat backrest frame at bottom | 5 hooks | |
8 | Unhook seat cover (6) on seat backrest frame at side until front seat adjustment motor is accessible | Observe hooks and lugs (arrows) | |
9 | Unscrew left and right screws (7) on seat backrest and move seat backrest toward front | ||
10 | Unscrew screws (8) from motor (M25m2 or M26m2) | ||
11 | Carefully press clip (arrow) out through seat frame and remove motor (M25m2 or M26m2) downward | Installation: Ensure that motor drive gear (9) meshes correctly with the teeth on the mating gear. Observe wire routing. | |
12 | Disconnect electrical connector (10) and remove motor (M25m2 or M26m2) with gear (11) | ||
13 | Unscrew screws (12) and remove motor (M25m2 or M26m2) from gear (11) | ||
14 | Install in opposite order |
