1 | Remove seat-back lining from front seat backrest | ||
2 | Disconnect electrical connector (1) from head restraint up/down motor (M27m4) or head restraint up/down motor (M28m4) | ||
3 | Extend the head restraint | Extend head restraint until head restraint up/down motor (M27m4) or head restraint up/down motor (M28m4) can be removed. | |
4 | Disconnect the head restraint from the folding device (2) | Installation: The head restraint must engage in the head restraint bracket. | |

5 | Remove head restraint up/down motor (M27m4) or head restraint up/down motor (M28m4) | Push head restraint up/down motor (M27m4, M28m4) to the right and remove from below. | |
6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
