Remove head restraint from front seat (1)

Disconnect electrical connector (2) from driver's seat head restraint adjustment motor (M27/4) or front passenger seat head restraint adjustment motor (M28/4)

Push driver's seat head restraint adjustment motor (M27/4) or front passenger seat head restraint adjustment motor (M28/4) in an upward direction (arrow), then push to the right side (arrow) and then remove in a downward direction

Installation: Ensure that spring U-bolt (3) and hook (4) are seated correctly in backrest frame.

Install in the reverse order
