Removal, installation

Remove driver's seat cushion and backrest upholstery.

Remove paneling from rear of driver's backrest

Remove cable straps (1, 4)

Disconnect connector (2)

Remove mount (3) from backrest frame

Remove backrest adjustment drive shaft (5)

Pull drive shaft (5) out of gear. Do not actuate motor (7) so as not to change adjustment of backrest lock.

Installation: If backrest lock is adjusted incorrectly,

adjust backrest lock if necessary, only steps 14-18.

Remove motor (7)

Unscrew screws (arrows), press off spring clips (6) and remove motor (7) downward

Pull drive shaft (8) out of motor (7)

Install in the reverse order

Carry out operational check
