Remove/install

Remove seat-back lining from front seat backrest

Remove heat restraints

 See owner's manual.

Disconnect electrical connector from left head restraint seat adjustment motor (M27/4) or right head restraint seat adjustment motor (M28/4)

Remove left head restraint seat adjustment motor (M27/4) or right head restraint seat adjustment motor (M28/4)

 To do so, first push left head restraint seat adjustment motor (M27/4) or right head restraint seat adjustment motor (M28/4) complete with plastic housing to the right side and then remove downward.

Unscrew screw (3) and remove trim (2)

Unhook seat backrest cover (1) at right

Remove screws (4) on right backrest

 Bolt, backrest adjustment motor at backrest

 Torx bit set

*000589011000

Remove left backrest motor (M27/5) or right backrest motor (M28/5)

Disconnect electrical connector from left backrest motor (M27/5) or right backrest motor (M28/5)

11

Install in the reverse order



Check

Perform function check of seat adjustment
