Removal, installation

Remove driver's seat cushion

Remove cover above cable duct

Unscrew screws (1) and remove cover.

Expose leads and disconnect connector from connector strip

Open cable straps on motor (4) and seat frame and remove clips from cover plate (2).

Remove cover plate (2) from gear (3)

Installation: Replace self-locking nuts.

Unscrew screws (arrows) from motor (4)

Remove plastic bracket (5) over rubber lip

Remove motor (4)

Unhook flexible drive shafts and remove motor

Installation: Turn both threaded spindles for longitudinal adjustment (arrow) toward rear on stop.

Install in the reverse order

Carry out operational check
