Remove rear seat backrest

Remove upholstery on rear-seat backrest (4) from backrest frame.

Remove attachment clips holding electric air pump to backrest frame (3).

Press down on the backrest padding (5) and extract the electric air pump (M14/11 on left and M14/12 on right) with solenoid valve (Y82 on left und Y82/1 on right) and control valve (1) from the backrest frame.

Remove the control valve (1).

Disconnect the pneumatic line (2) and remove the control valve.

Installation: Set control valve to level 5.

Remove plastic grommet (6).

Remove the screws from the plastic grommet, then extract the grommet from the backrest frame.

Separate electrical wire to solenoid valve (Y82 on left und Y82/1 on right) at the plug-in connection and pull the pneumatic line from the solenoid valve.

Remove the plug-in connection and solenoid valve from the backrest frame.Remove solenoid valve.

Separate air pump electric wire (M14/11 on left und M14/12 on right) at the plug-in connection and extract from the backrest frame.

Pull off pneumatic line for electric air pump (M14/11 on left und M14/12 on right).

Remove electric air pump (M14/11 on left und M14/12 on right).

Install by reversing the removal sequence

Run an operational check on the rear seat.
