Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2m)

Remove spare tire well paneling

Remove screw/bolt (1) from compressed air reservoir (5)

Disconnect pneumatic lines (3, 4) from compressed air reservoir (5)

Remove pneumatic lines (3, 4) from foam mounting in cover (2)

Unclip cover (2)

Remove multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40) from foam material (6) and place to one side


Make sure that the pneumatic lines (3, 4) and further pneumatic lines on the terminal block on the multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40) are not kinked.
Leaks may occur otherwise.

Unclip pneumatic terminal block using suitable tool from multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40)

Disconnect electrical connector from multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40)

Remove multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40)

11

Install in the reverse order

Remove/install air pump for multicontour seat
