2 Restraint cables (on right and left in 3-seater bench)

3 Hooks (on right and left in 3-seater bench)

4 Retainer

Remove

Actuate release lever (1) in direction of arrow

Pull the bench from the retainer (4) using the handle recesses on the seat backrest

Install

Position the bench with the brackets (5) in front of the retaining bolts (6)

The installation of passenger seats without a restraint cable (2) is not permissible in vehicles up to
VIN: #R 293085.

Attach restraint cable (2) into the hook (3) and push bench seat forwards until the locking mechanism latches audibly.

Bench seat attachment modified

As of VIN: #P 943055, the restraint cable on the right of the wide three-passenger bench seat has been dispensed with due to the modified design of the floor panel.
