Remove paneling of rear seat backrest

Left or right

Pull cover (2) forwards out of the working area

To guarantee access to the spring (3).

Do not pull too far, as this could damage the cover!

Detach spring (3)

Detach armrest (1)

Install

Detach plastic pivot bearing from the armrest (1) and insert in rear seat backrest

Note the installation position of the plastic pivot bearing.

Insert spring (3) in plastic pivot bearing

Install paneling of rear seat backrest

Press in armrest (1)

Perform a function test
