Remove, install backrest release

Remove/install

Remove bottom paneling

Press paneling (1) in direction of arrow with assembly wedge (2)

 When removing, replace damaged paneling

Remove bolt (5) from belt end fitting (4)



Pull belt with seat belt buckle lock striker (3) and belt end fitting (4) through paneling (1) (see arrows)

 Press belt passage onto paneling (1) lightly.

Press bracket (6) out in direction of arrow and unhook Bowden cable (7) at bottom of lever (8)

 Observe direction of installation

Unhook Bowden cable (7) at top of backrest release handle (2).

 Observe direction of installation

Unscrew bolts (9, 2 each) and bolts (10, 2 each) from backrest release handle (2).



Remove backrest release

Install in the reverse order
