Remove/install

Remove left or right seat cushion.

Remove front passenger seat occupancy recognition sensor (B41/1).

If the seat adjustment unit (1) on the passenger side is replaced.

Remove seat backrest.

Remove seat belt buckle.

If the seat adjustment unit (1) is replaced.

Remove front seat heating/seat ventilation control unit (N25/17).

Release electrical connectors from bracket (2), disconnect and expose electrical wiring harnesses (arrows).

 The number of electrical connectors and wiring harnesses varies according to the vehicle equipment.

Remove remaining detachable parts from seat adjustment unit (1).

Install in the reverse order.
