Remove/install

Remove seat cushion (1) of left or right front seat

Unscrew bolt (3) from belt end fitting and remove seat belt (4) from paneling (5)

Remove tensioning element from front seat backrest (2)

Loosen cover of front seat backrest (2) at the bottom completely, and at the side until bolt (7) is exposed

Remove expansion clips (11) and unclip panelings (5, 12)

Warm up bolt (7) at backrest fitting and remove

Installation: Replace bolt (7) and washer (8).

Warm up bolts (6) at backrest fitting and remove

Installation: Replace bolts (6).

Remove front seat backrest (2) with wiring harness (13) connected and lay down

Carefully lay down front seat backrest (2) to prevent the wiring harness (13) from being damaged.

Aid of helper required.

Remove wiring harness (13) from seat adjustment mechanism (14)

Installation: Pay attention to routing and attachment of wiring harness (13).

Unclip left front seat control unit (N32/1) or right front seat control unit (N32/2)

When replacing seat adjustment mechanism (14).

Remove bolt (9) and take off seat belt buckle (10)
