4 | Undo screw (5) on paneling (6) and remove paneling (6) | Installation: Insert paneling (6) on front seat adjustment mechanism (arrow) and latch into backrest fitting | |
5 | Remove screws/bolts (10) on left and right backrest fitting (11) | ||

6 | Remove front seat backrest from the seat adjustment mechanism | ||
7 | Detach tensile spring (7) for angle adjustment shaft (8) on cushion frame (9) | ||
8 | Undo screw (12 and 13) on mounting plate (14) | ||

9 | Remove seat adjustment mechanism (15) from seat cushion (19) | Installation: Check plastic mounting plate (18) at left and right on cushion frame (9), insert if necessary. Grease bearing bushings, gear segments and mounting plates (14) on the seat adjustment mechanism (15) | |
10 | Unscrew seat belt buckle (16) from seat adjustment mechanism (15) (WAF 17) | ||

11 | Unhook retracting spring (17) on gear segment at bottom left and right (relieve) | ||
12 | Remove angle adjustment shaft (8), both tensile springs (7) and mounting plates (14) from seat adjustment mechanism (15) | Installation: Mount flattened side of angle adjustment shaft (8) towards seat outer side (mounting for hand wheel) | |
13 | Install in the reverse order |
