Remove backrest frame (2) of left or right front seat

Do not remove upholstery of backrest (3).

Remove seat cushion

Detach electrical connectors (6, 7, 8) on engines (M27/1, M27/2, M27/3) or on engines (M28/1, M28/2, M28/3)

For vehicles with code (221) Electrically adjustable left front seat or with code (222) Electrically adjustable right front seat

Remove seat belt buckle (4) on seat adjuster (1)

When replacing seat adjuster (1) expose wiring harness assembly (5) of seat belt buckle (4) to seat adjuster (1).
